I would like to share this story to pinaysmile and Adelyn. The author of this story isn't me. But this touches me though I'm not a mother. Enjoy reading.

The child asked God, “They tell me you are sending me to earth today, but how am I going to live there, being so small and helpless?”

God said, “My child, from all my many angels, I chose a special one just for you. She will be waiting for you and will take care of you.”

The child said, “But God, here in heaven, I don’t do anything else but sing and smile, and it makes me happy.”

God said, “Your angel will sing for you and smile for you, and you will feel your angel’s love, and that will make you happy.”

The child said, “And how will I understand when people talk to me, if I don’t know the language that men talk on earth?”

God replied, “Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.”

“And God,” said the child,
What am I going to do when I want to talk to you?”

God said,” Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray, and I will hear you.”

The child said, “I’ve heard that on earth there are bad people and many evil things. Who will protect me?”

“Your angel will defend you,” said God. “Even if it means risking her life. You are more precious than anything to her.”

The child said,
“But I will always be sad, because I will not see you anymore.”

God smiled and said, “Your angel will teach you the way for you to be good and come back to me, and through her you will know that I am always watching over you.”

(Then they heard voices calling from earth, and the child knew it was time to go.)

“God,” the child asked softly, “If I am about to leave now, could you please tell me my angel’s name, so I will know her?”

And God said,
“Your angel’s real name is of no importance.....
You will call your angel:

Oh, I’m so glad that it’s Friday night already. It means two days off work are coming. I had rough weekdays. I worked most of the days this week by myself with 7 toddlers. So much work to do being by yourself. Plus I had to work overtime too. Not a bad thing though, since I need money to help my family. But I’m so tired and my body hurts. Huhuhu… Thanks that I have this friend of mine, the Efficascent Oil. I always have Efficascent Oil at home. It helps ease my body pain. But every time I use it, my husband would always say, “Hmmm stinky perfume”. He does not like the smell of it. To him it stinks but to me I like the smell of it. But he understands though the reason why I’m using it. So, I never stopped.

This greeting is for Monica. She just turned 2 today. Monica is one of our sweetest toddlers. She is our little Teacher Monica in our room.

She is my thirteen year old niece. Her name is Sharmine Rose. She is the oldest of all my nieces and nephews. She spent most of her days and nights with me since she was a kid back in the Philippines. She used to be my helper in all my paper works. She volunteered to help checking my pupils’ test papers and etcetera. She is so proud to say these, “Auntie, I am like you.” “I wanted to be a teacher like you.” Isn’t that sweet? Yes, it is. I really want to watch her grow everyday. But I chose to be away from her, away from my family, away from my friends and away from the people who care for me because of one person who will complete my life, MY HUSBAND. And I made the right choice. From leaving them and be with the LOVE OF MY LIFE, I am able to help them in financial way.

Sharmine joins a beauty pageant (sort of) in her school and today is the big day. And yet, the most important experience she ever have in her life being a young. And I missed it. I am so sad because I can’t be there to support her and to cheer her up. But, she may win or not win in this contest, in my heart, she is always be a winner to me. Sad.... sad... sad..

Space Needle is a tower found in Seattle, Washington. It is a major landmark of the Pacific Northwest region of the United States and the symbol of Seattle. It is located in Seattle Center. The Space Needle is 605 feet (184m) high and 138 feet (42m) wide at its widest point and weighs 9,550 tons. It is built to withstand winds of up to 200mph (320km/h) and earthquake up to 9.5 magnitudes and has 25 lightning rods on the roof to prevent lightning damage.

The Space Needle features an observation deck at 520 feet (160m), the SkyCity restaurant at 500 feet (152m), and a gift shop. From the top of the needle, you can see the view of the Downtown Seattle skyline, the mountains, bay and even the surrounding islands. Visitors can reach to the top (which is the 60th floor) via elevators that travel at 10mph (16km/h) which will take only 43 seconds. Some tourists wait in hour-long lines in order to ascend to the top of the tower.

Vivien gave this tag to me. This really catches my interest since 80% (at least) of what it says is true. This is also a sort of reminder of who and what I am. And not to be worried of myself being a weird person because for sure I am not alone. To those who are Ass like me, let’s scream, “I’M AN ASS!”.

If you are an Ass : A very loyal and sweet person. Your loyalty can never be doubted. You are quite honest and sincere when it comes to your attitude towards working. You are a very simple person, indeed. Absolutely hassle free, humble, and down-to-earth!! That explains the reason why your friends cling on to you! You have a good taste for clothes. If your wardrobe is not updated with what is trendy, you sure are depressed. Popular and easy-going. You have a little gr! oup of dignified friends, all of them being quality-personified.

If you are a Slug : Always up to some sort of a mischief! The mischievous gleam in your eyes is what makes you so cute and attractive to everyone. You are an extremely fun-to-be-with kind of person. No wonder people seek your company and look forward to include you for all get-together. However, you are sensitive which is a drawback. People need to select their words while talking to you. If someone tries to fiddle around and play with words while dealing with you, it is enough to invite your wrath. God bless the person then!

If you are a Cockroach : Quite contradictory to your name, you are a peace loving person. You best try to avoid a situation wherein you are required to fight. An outdoor person, you dislike sitting at one place for a long duration. You are a born leader, and have it in you how to tactfulLy derive work from people. You love being loved and when you receive your share of limelight from someone, you are all theirs!!!! Well, well... Hence some people could even take an advantage, flatter you to the maximum and get their work done. So be careful.....

If you are a Parasite : An extremely lovable, adorable person, sometimes shy, with a passion for quick wit. At times, you prefer quietness. You love exploring various things and going into depth of each thing. Under normal circumstances you're cool but when given a reason to, you are like a volcano waiting to erupt. You're a fashion bird. People look forward to you as an icon associated with fashion. Basically, you mingle along freely but don't like talking much to strangers. People feel very easy in your company. You observe care in choosing your friends.

If you are a Skunk : You are near to perfect and nice at heart! . The examples of your kindness are always circulated in groups of people. You, too, love peace. You wouldn't like to retaliate even to a person who is in the wrong. You are loved due to this. You do not wish to talk behind one's back. People love the way you always treat them. You can give, give, and give love, and the best part is that you do not expect it back in return. You are generous enough. Seeing things in a practical light is what remains the best trait of you guys

If you are a Bullfrog : You symbolize a very happy-go-lucky approach in life. Whatever the surroundings may be, grim or cheerful, you remain unaffected. In fact, you spread cheer wherever you go. You are the leader of your group of fri ends! and good at consoling pe ople in their times of need. You dislike hypocrisy and tend to shirk away from hypocrites. They can never be in your good books, no matter what. You are very methodical and organized in your work. No amount of mess, hence, can ever encompass you. Beware, it is easy for you to fall in love....

If you are a Snake : You are mysterious. You are someone who can handle pressure with ease, and can handle any atmosphere without going berserk. You can be mean at times, and love to gossip with your selected group. Very prim and proper. You like all situations and things to be in the way you desire, which, sometimes is not possible. As a result, you may lose out in some relationships. But otherwise, you love to help people out from difficult and tight spots when they really need you.

If you are an Ape : Very impatient and hyper!!! You want things to be done as quick as possible. At heart, you are quite simple and love if you are the center of attraction. That way, you people are unique. You would like to keep yourself safe from all the angles. Shall your name be dragged or featured in any sort of a controversy, you then go all panicky. Therefore, you take your precautions from the very beginning. When you foresee anything wrong, your sixth sense is what saves you from falling in traps. Quite a money minded bunch you people are!!

I work in a day care center taking care of kids aged 15 to 24 months. I like it. I love kids. I love being with them especially with this age range that they just started to learn most of the things. I can still remember when these kids just started. They were waddling when they walk. They said only simple words like mama and papa. They listened and follow whatever you told them to do. But then days turned into week and weeks turned into months. No more waddling because they can really run. They say words not just the simple ones that you can even communicate to them. Yes, they listen but not all the time because they wanted to do things on their own way which they ended up getting hurt most of the time. This, stresses me out. But even though they do not listen sometimes, they are still cute, sweet, marvelous and very smart. Do you think these are the reason why I am still in this field? I bet.

My mom lives in a place very far from town. The only way to get town and back is by riding Habal-habal. This type of transportation is now very popular in my mom's place and other places where jeepneys are not available.

During our last visit to the Philippines, my husband and I were riding Habal-habal every night to town where we can catch taxi back to the hotel. At first, I was so worried since he is not used to riding motorcycle on a rocky road. But I think he trusted the Habal-habal driver who is my brother. He even rode on it even if the Habal-habal doesn't have lights. To him, it was an adventure. I am glad that he was having fun riding Habal-habal.

(To those who have no idea what Habal-habal looks like, the above picture is for you.)

True friends are friends who are at your side in good and in bad times. And the thing is, they are hard to find. Lucky me 'coz I found some.

I'm giving this to Adelyn, Vivien and Gladys!

I would like to thank my friend Vivien for sharing this to me.

My husband and I would like to thank this person. He is Mr. Ismael Tudtud or Brod Mael as his friends call him. In all the trips that we had when we were in the Philippines, he offered his vehicle and drove us for free. He is a wonderful, generous, sweet, genuine and down to earth person.

Thank you so much Brod Mael. God bless you and your family.

We just came back from the Philippines about 3 days ago. Oh boy! It was a very nice trip. My husband and I were having a great time. My family, relatives, friends and neighbors were so happy to see both of us and so do we. Tears were running down our cheeks as we gave each other hugs and kisses. What a great feeling being with your family and with those people who care for you. We brought for them some clothes, hats, candies and chocolates which the kids loved so much and even the big ones. These are simple things but these gave them so much joy.

Since, we stayed in a hotel, we can't be with my family 24 hours. But, we spent most of our time with them. We had dinner together, took them to the mall, took them to the park and visited our relatives. We had a party one day and invited all our neighbors. They were so happy. It was really fun. And I am so glad that my husband enjoyed our vacation. People there welcomed him. And for sure they miss both of us already. Well, we miss them too.
