A WONDERFUL HUSBAND!

I would say that I am really blessed with my husband. He has proven to me many times already how kind-hearted he is. He treats my family as his family. One of the proofs was the incident that happened to my brother in law 2 weeks ago. Since he wasn’t given a proper care in the public hospital, we decided to move him to a private hospital. The hospital was asking for 20,000 pesos down payment. Ouch! I felt I was being robbed too. But to my surprise, my husband took 32,000 pesos out of his account and sent it to my family. I was speechless. That was too much money. I told him that he didn’t need to do it. His answer touched me so much. He said that he can not afford to see his niece and nephews living without a father and my sister without a husband. I am so thankful to God for giving me such a wonderful husband.

WORK!

I really don’t know how to describe what I feel right now regarding my work. I mean work in general is fine. I love my kids so much and I know they love me too. It’s my new partner who is giving me headache. She is one of those strange people, hard to understand. It is sad because she does not help very well. The worse thing is, she acts like a boss telling me to do this and that even when I’m busy and her, just standing doing nothing. Well, I’ll ignore her pretending I did not hear what she said until she’ll do it. She loves to talk. So, it’s pretty normal huh, since women have two mouths. But, when you are talking and forget that you have kids to take care of, I think it’s not okay anymore. I don’t know, I’m not excited to go to work anymore. I am so scared that may be tomorrow or the next day I may loose my patience. PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE. This is one of the virtues that I pray for everyday.

NOT A HAPPY EASTER AT ALL!

I got a text message from my sister in the Philippines saying that our brother in law was shot. He was walking on a dark street by himself with his cellphone in his pocket, a cellphone which cost only 1,800. Two guys on a motorcycle swung by and put a gun on his side saying, “All we need is your cellphone.” Without hesitation, my brother in law gave his cellphone to them. But then these crazy guys shot him on his side right after they got the phone. They fired three more shots but my brother in law managed to jump though he is already wounded. Then these crazy guys drove away. My brother in law managed to get up and found a motorcycle (habal-habal) to take him home and tell his family what happened to him and to take him to the hospital. Right now he is in a hospital. His whole family is praying for his recovery. He has a wife and three kids.

Why there are people who can do brutal things like this? Are they really poor and starving or they are just high on drugs? To all who have read my entry, I want you to be aware and be vigilant day and night no matter where you are. I don’t want this to happen to you. In my personal observation, it seems that good guys are always in danger. Maybe because bad guys thought that good guys tend to panic, get scared, can’t fight back and just run away if they can like what my brother in law did.
